FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. -- Outrage was sparked on social media after a comedian posted a video his friend sent to him that she apparently filmed in a Reston Trader Joe's, that showed a woman berating her for being Muslim.

"This woman was in a hurry so my friend (who is a Muslim woman) offered to let her go in front of her in line," said comedian Jeremy McLellan in a Facebook post. "That's when she started talking bad about a different Muslim woman in the store (who was wearing niqab) and asking my friend why she didn't cover as well."

The video has gotten more than 15,000 shares on Facebook. The video takes place in a supermarket checkout line. Early on in the video, the woman filming says, "I shouldn't have let you in front of me." The other woman replies, "I wish they didn't let you in the country."

She goes on to claim former president Obama was a secret Muslim, expresses happiness that he's out of office and says, "He may be in jail, too, in the future."

DCW50 reached out to Trader Joe's for comment, but have yet to hear back. The woman who filmed the video says she is requesting anonymity, but has given McLellan permission to share it. DCW50 has not been able to confirm the events of this video.
