Man shot and killed in Southeast, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Thursday morning in Southeast, D.C.

According to officials, officers responded to a call for a man down in the 2700 block of Bruce Place, Southeast around 3:57 a.m. Thursday morning. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died.

There are no further details at this time.
