DC police seek suspect shown in video of shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The MPD is looking for a suspect who is seen in a video shooting a victim several times and then fleeing on foot in a video from April 12.

The crime occurred around 8:25 p.m., in the 800 block of 9th St., Northeast. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Information can also be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a shooting committed in the District of Columbia.
