LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. -- Montgomery County Public Libraries hosted two free concerts by the Loudoun Youth Guitars, an ensemble made up of middle and high school students from Loudoun County who play the guitar.
They performed a Concerto for Two Guitars and Orchestra in G-Minor by Antonio Vivaldi.
“We are very pleased to host these concerts,” said MPCL Director Parker Hamilton. “Music brings people together, and when it is performed by talented, young students, it is especially inspiring and delightful.”
Loudoun Youth Guitars are brought to MCPL by the International Conservatory of Music, a non-profit public charity whose mission is to bring people together to experience classical guitar music from around the world through performances, classes, scholarship competitions and national tours.
