The Road To The ICCA Championships: The Real Life Pitch Perfect

College Park, MD - February 4, 2017

This weekend marks the end of the Quarter Final Round of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA).  Over 450 teams entered to compete this year.  Based on their video submissions, 387 teams were selected to compete in the live Quarter Final Round.  The top two teams from each round move on to the Semi Final Round which begins next weekend.  The winner from each semi final round will compete in the Finals at Beacon Theatre in New York City on April 22nd.

DCW5o was on hand in College Park, Maryland on February 4th when PandemoniUM from the University of Maryland finished in First Place and the Vibes from George Washington finished in Second Place.

Sayeef Alam, the Business Director for the Faux Pax from the University of Maryland, a finalist in last year's competition, says this event presents "A stage to present everything that's important to you."
