FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. -- A family of four was uninjured Saturday after they fled their multi-million dollar home in McLean, which had gone up in a massive blaze.

The home is estimated on Zillow to be worth several million dollars. Property records show it's owned by the government of the United Arab Emirates, with its mailing address listed as the UAE embassy in D.C.

Fairfax County Fire said that the family's safe escape was due to them being alerted by their smoke alarms, and sent out a reminder on Twitter that working alarms and a good escape plan can save lives in event of a fire.
