BALTIMORE, MD — Family and friends are remembering six children who died in a house fire last month. The children’s ages ranged from 11 years old to the youngest who was just shy of nine months old.

The children’s mother and their three siblings survived the deadly fire. The father wasn’t home at the time of the blaze.

According to a family representative, a trust fund has been created to help pay for medical, housing and other expenses for the Malone family.

A number of fundraisers have been dedicated to the family, whose home on the 4200 block of Springwood Ave. burned on Jan. 12.

GoFundMe page continues to raise money, and is now more than $360,000. As for the trust fund, a family representative who organizes the “Love for the Malones Facebook Page” says that for those who want to contribute they can mail in a check to: The Malone Family Trust c/o The Jeffrey Group at Morgan Stanley, 650 S Exeter St, Suite 1100, Baltimore, MD 21202.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. According to The Baltimore Sun, the family has not done any interviews but Kate Malone, the children’s mother, has shared updates on her Facebook page. Malone thanked donors for their support.

“I truly want to thank everyone for their support. From the top of my heart to the tip of my toes, thank you,” she wrote in a recent post.
