Pedestrian struck and killed in Prince George’s County

BLADENSBURG, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision in Bladensburg, Maryland.

According to officials, police arrived in the 4200 block of Kenilworth Avenue early Tuesday morning. Investigators say the victim was an adult male who was pronounced dead around 6:20 a.m. The driver remained on the scene.

At this time, the investigation is ongoing. The southbound lanes of Kenilworth Avenue between Windom Road and Upshur Street remain closed. If you’re heading northbound on Kenilworth Avenue, all lanes but one have closed.
