Police make arrest in Anne Arundel homicide

ANNE ARUNDEL, Md. – The Anne Arundel County Police Department announced that it has made an arrest in the January 13th homicide of Nathan Ford.

The incident happened around 10:45 p.m. on January 13th in the 2200 block of Conquest Way in Odenton, Maryland. Officials say that officers arrived on the scene to find 24-year-old Nathan Ford suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Police tried to administer aid to the victim on the scene, but he succumbed to his injuries.

After investigating the homicide, police say they were able to identify the suspect as Antonio Eugene Diggs, 29. On Wednesday, police executed several search warrants and recovered evidence linking Diggs to the murder of Nathan Ford. Police arrested him on charges of First Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, and several other related charges. Officials say the homicide was a random act of violence.
