Police investigate shooting in Northeast, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting in that happened early Tuesday morning in Northeast, D.C.

According to officials, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of 14th Place, Northeast around 6:47 p.m. They found two men in a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the men was transported to the hospital, while the other remained on the scene.

Police say they are looking for a suspect described as a black man with a thin build. He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
