Montgomery County, MD —   Melania Trump appeared in a Montgomery County court Monday. The incoming first lady attended a hearing for the libel lawsuit she filed against The Daily Mail and a Montgomery County-based blogger, according to CNN.

Attorney Charles Harder said Mrs. Trump attended the hearing to show she’s serious about pursuing the case.  CNN reports, Mrs. Trump said the outlets made false and defamatory claims about her supposed involvement in an escort service.

Both The Daily Mail and Tarpley corrected the story once the lawsuit was filed. The blogger also published an apology.
