D.C. is the tiredest place in America, says mattress company

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Mattress company Amerisleep analyzed almost 100 thousand Instagram posts, and have concluded that DC is the tiredest place in the country.

They analyzed state by state, counting DC as its own state. The District had 31.8 posts per 100 thousand residents that were hashtagged with #tired, by far the most in the nation, with the next closest state being Hawaii with 25.57.

Amerisleep also analyzed the hashtag #goodnight and concluded that the average bedtime in Virginia is 10:23 p.m., and that Manassas in Virginia has the second latest average bedtime, at 12:17 a.m.

Maryland had an average bedtime of 10:50, with Baltimore slightly later at 11:09.

The latest in the country was La Jolla, California, where people are hashtagging their Instagrams with #goodnight around 12:34 a.m.
