Anne Arundel cops make big drug bust

ANNE ARUNDEL, Md. — Police have seized over five thousand dollars worth of powder cocaine, as well as crack cocaine and some heroin in a bust that took place the morning of Dec. 1.

Various Anne Arundel law enforcement agencies had teamed up with the Baltimore PD and Annapolis PD to carry out a search warrant after months of investigation into drug trafficking from a Glen Burnie home.

The search, which took place in the 1000 block of Sharon Drive, turned up 9.5 grams of heroin (8 of those grams in capsules), 53.44 grams of cocaine, 150 empty gel capsules, 1.5 grams of crack cocaine, and 3 sifters.

Duriel Allen, Diana Burroughs, and Sancher Ropon were all arrested and charged on drug-related offenses. Allen and Burroughs were listed as living in the 1000 block of Sharon Drive, while Ropon was not. Ropon also had outstanding warrants for auto theft and credit card fraud.
