DC mayor will meet with President-Elect Trump
WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Tuesday, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser will meet with President-Elect Donald Trump to discuss Washington’s priorities and future growth.
Mayor Bowser, who insisted shortly after the election that DC would remain a sanctuary city despite Trump’s election, said in a statement that she looked forward to relaying DC’s priorities with the President-Elect.
The meeting will take place at Trump Tower in New York. Mayor Bowser will attend the meeting with her Chief of Staff John Falchiccio and Senior Adviser Beverly Perry.
