Two young children injured, one adult killed in Loudoun County crash

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — A fatal early morning car accident the day after Thanksgiving sent five people to the hospital, where one of them later died.

Police say the crash occurred around 1 a.m. on the Loudoun County Parkway when a pickup truck blew through a red light and crashed into a Toyota sedan that had the green.

The driver of the Toyota, Zabihullah Haiderian, 36, was injured in the accident, as well as Naweed Noori, 26, (minor injuries), Jamshed Noori, 27, (serious injuries), Maria Haiderian, 5, (was in a child safety seat, suffered serious injuries), and Armaghan Haiderian, 3, (was not in a child safety seat and was ejected from the car, suffered serious injuries). All four were taken to the hospital; both children were taken to Fairfax Inova.

Maria Haiderian, 37, was also taken to Fairfax Inova, where she died later Friday morning.

The driver of the pickup truck, Nadia Wilkerson, 39, was taken to Lansdowne Hospital with minor injuries. So far, she has been charged with failing to obey a traffic light. The crash remains under investigation.
