Secret Service agent struck near White House

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A law enforcement agent was struck by a vehicle near the White House on Thursday morning, according to officials.

The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a Secret Service agent was struck near the White House. The agent was transported to the hospital around 9:30 a.m. in serious condition.
