FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A motorcyclist fled from police on Friday night after they stopped him for a traffic violation, leading cops on a multi-county chase that took over an hour.

The motorcyclist, Anders Kinsler of Sterling, 20, failed to yield to Fairfax County police around 4:30 p.m. Friday. This led to a chase by those police that crossed the border into Loudoun County.

By the end of the pursuit, Kinsler was being followed by Fairfax County police and a helicopter of theirs, deputies to the Loudoun County Sheriff, Virginia State Troopers and a U.S. Park Police helicopter.

Kinsler finally pulled over around 5:40 p.m. and surrendered in Loudoun County, on Route 7 going eastbound. Troopers and the Loudoun deputies took him into custody without incident.
