MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. -- The 8th annual tribute to veterans concert happened on Thursday in collaboration with Montgomery Co. Commission on Veterans Affairs. The event celebrated the Korean War era, in tribute to vets the day before Veterans Day.

On Thursday, the Silver Spring Civic Building hosted the event, where veterans and their loved ones danced and enjoyed the music of Natty Beaux.

There was also a tribute in memory of Fred Cherry, who was a POW in Vietnam for 7 years and who served in the Korean War, as well as a tribute to 9/11 first responders.

The Natty Beaux played classics from Louis Prima, Ray Charles, Louis Jordan, Bobby Darin, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Gene Vincent, Nat King Cole, Jerry Lee Lewis and other greats.
