Man dies in October from unsolved assault in May, death ruled a homicide

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A man who was assaulted in Capitol Heights in May died of head trauma on Oct. 28, causing his death to be re-ruled a homicide.

The assault that killed the victim, James Walls, 57, remains unsolved. Walls was found on the 4300 block of Quinn Street on May 24, 2016, around 4 p.m. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
