Man named Martin Luther King Jr. arrested for shooting at girlfriend’s car
ANNE ARUNDEL, Md. — A man who shares his full name with historic civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. was arrested Saturday on attempted first degree murder after shooting at his girlfriend’s car.
Police reported to a woman’s home on Saturday for reports of a domestic dispute. The woman, 41, was uninjured but said that her boyfriend had shot at her several times while she was driving.
Martin Luther King Jr. surrendered himself to police that night at the police station and was arrested without incident. He was charged with attempted first and second degree murder, assault, and reckless endangerment.
