At least 50 gunshots fired near Southeast D.C. apartments

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department reports that at least 50 gunshots were fired near an apartment complex in Southeast, D.C.

Police say that between 8 p.m and 10 p.m. they received several calls about multiple rounds of gunshots being heard in the 3000 block of Stanton Road. According to officers on the scene, they found at least 50 shell casings in the area. They also report that three different apartment units were hit, as well as ten vehicles. There were no injuries.

According to officials, there are no suspects at this time.
