PG detectives canvass Temple Hills Neighborhood in Homicide Investigation

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD —  Detectives are set to canvass a Temple Hills neighborhood to gather more information into the deadly shooting of a 52-year-old. In today’s canvass, officers will pass out a composite sketch of the suspect.

Earlier this month, police said, George Barnes was shot in the 2500 block of Southern Avenue. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

The suspect is an African-American male, between the ages of 24-30, 6’0”-6’3” and weighs about 185-200 pounds.

The canvass is set to start at 6 p.m. in the 2500 block of Southern Avenue.
