Redskins invest $300,000 in Prince George’s education initiative

PRINCE GEORGE’S, Md. — The Redskins Charitable Foundation announced a three hundred thousand dollar donation on Thursday, to the Ready for Work program in Prince George’s.

The Ready for Work program plans to raise $15 million dollars over the next six years to support services that increase high school graduation, college enrollment and paths to careers.

“The Redskins and Venture Philanthropy Partners both believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. We are proud to partner with VPP to invest in the dreams of young people,” said Dan Snyder, who owns the Redskins.
