Man killed in shooting in Prince George’s County

CLINTON, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Thursday night in Clinton, Maryland.

According to officials, officers arrived in the 5700 block of Alan Drive around 9:30 p.m. after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

After a preliminary investigation, police do not believe this to be a random shooting. However, officials say that the investigation to establish a suspect, or suspects, as well as motive, is ongoing.

Police ask that anyone with information regarding this case call Prince George’s County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous. The Prince George’s County Police Department is offering a reward of $25,000 for information that helps solve the case.
