Another Centreville teen arrested in connection with overdose death
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A second teen has been arrested in connection with the death of a 17-year-old girl who accidentally overdosed on a lethal combination of morphine, alprazolam, oxycodone and alcohol.
The first arrest was Clifton resident David Evers, 18, who turned himself in to police in May. He was charged with distribution, and possession with intent to distribute. He pled guilty Monday.
This plea was followed by a second arrest, of Daniel Armando Urrego, 19, on the same charges. This arrest was made Tuesday after a lengthy investigation revealed the two men were linked. Urrego was arrested in Manassas.
The 17-year-old who overdosed was Centreville High School student Alexia Springer.
