High school track coach charged with sexual assault
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md– Onaje Robinson, 42, of Germantown, surrendered to Montgomery County detectives Tuesday evening. He is charged with two counts of a third-degree sexual offense and one count of second-degree assault, according to police.
Montgomery County Police say the track coach at Seneca Valley High School spent a week talking with a 14-year-old on social media and agreed to meet. The investigation revealed that Robinson drove to the victim’s house in Anne Arundel County early morning on August 20th, took the victim back to his apartment, where they had sex, and drove her home around 5 a.m.
During an interview with the victim, she revealed that she knew he was an older male, and he knew she was 14-years-old.
Robinson turned himself in to detectives Tuesday evening. He was transported to the Central Processing Unit and released on bond.
