NEW CARROLLTON, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in New Carrollton on Sunday. The incident occurred in the 5400 block 85th Avenue around 7:00 a.m.

According to police, the suspect broke into the victim’s apartment in New Carrollton on Sunday morning. The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim and stole several items from her house before fleeing.

Police describe the suspect as being about 5’9″ to 6’0″ and weighing between 170 and 190 pounds. He wore a white and orange striped shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
