ARLINGTON, Va. — A 66-year-old woman was charged with assault on police yesterday after police say she bit an officer’s hand during a traffic stop.

The Arlington County officer asked Jo Walton McClease, who he found to be driving on a suspended license, to exit her vehicle. McClease is accused of being non-compliant with the officer and biting him on the hand as she got out of the car.

She is charged with assault on police, obstruction of justice, and driving without a license.
