Russell Carnell Walker, 44

PRINCE WILLIAM, Va. — A missing three-month-old baby boy has been found safe and unharmed, after a man assaulted the infant’s mother and then disappeared with him last Wednesday.

Prince William County Police responded to a Motel 6 on Thursday to investigate reports of a domestic incident. The mother, a 22-year-old woman from New Mexico, told them that the suspect, Russell Carnell Walker, had assaulted her and then taken her infant son, Zion.

Police sent up an alert looking for information on Zion’s whereabouts. They responded to a residence in Woodbridge after receiving information, where they arrested Walker without incident and discovered Zion nearby.
