WASHINGTON, DC — Residents living on Minnesota Ave. in Southeast may be experiencing disruptions in their water service after a water main there broke late Saturday night. Crews say water should be be restored around 6:45 Sunday evening.

A thirty-year-old tree had to be cut down to allow workers to access the broken pipe, which caused a delay in a return of normal services.

Approximately 30 households in Southeast were without water for almost 24 hours.
