BLADENSBURG, MD – An apartment fire in Bladensburg, Maryland on Tuesday left 19 people without homes and injured one person. That incident occurred in the 5400 block of Madison Way.

According to officials, a fire ripped through an apartment building on Tuesday. That fire left nineteen people, including four children, displaced. One of the residents of the building rescued by the Kentland Volunteer Fire Department is suffering from critical injuries. He was transported to an area trauma center.

Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control. However, at this time, the investigation is ongoing. There is no word yet as to the cause of the fire.
