Additional charge brought against massage therapist in Alexandria

FAIRFAX CO. – Wednesday, police charged a 25-year-old man who was formerly employed as a massage therapist, for allegedly inappropriately touching a 25-year-old woman in December, 2015.

On Saturday, June 25, the victim reported the incident to police after learning about the original case that was released on June 2. An investigation determined the woman visited a Massage Envy, located at 6465 Old Beulah Street in Alexandria (Fairfax County), where she alleges that the same therapist touched her inappropriately. The victim did not require medical attention.

On Tuesday, July 26, officers obtained a warrant charging Nicholas Currie, 25, of Alexandria with sexual battery. Wednesday morning, around 9 a.m., Currie turned himself in at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where the warrant was served.
