PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., MD – A police impersonator is on the loose and Prince George’s County police are searching for him.

The alert comes after a Prince George’s woman was pulled over in Clinton, MD on Monday night. Officials say she told police the man was driving a black grand marquis with a large “police mirror” on the left side. He activated a flashing red dome light to pull her vehicle over. She said she was wearing a Prince George’s County Police uniform, complete with county patch and badge.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 6’3″, 250 lbs, bald head, and a skull tattoo on the nape of his neck. If anyone sees this man or is stopped by him, contact police right away.

Officers say if you are ever suspicious or uncomfortable with a police stop, drive to a lighted area and call a supervisor.
