DC police search for missing 12-year-old boy

WASHINGTON, DC – Metropolitan Police are searching for a missing 12-year-old boy from Southeast DC.

According to police, 12-year-old Dwayne Bean was last seen in the 4300 block of Texas Avenue, SE on Tuesday, July 5.

He is described as a black male, 5’1″ tall, weighs 90 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing blue cut-off sweatpants, a white tank top, and white Nike Sneakers.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Youth and Family Services Division at (202) 576-6768 or the Command Information Center (CIC) at (202) 727-9099. Anonymous information may also be forwarded to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
