Metrorail service resumes after delays

WASHINGTON, DC – Metrorail services between Van Ness and Medical Center have resumed after they were suspended due to fire department activity outside Friendship Heights.

According to Metrorail tweets, the delays began at approximately 12:48 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Train services have resumed but still expect delays.
