MONTGOMERY CO., MD – More than 75 firefighters were on the scene of a house fire that broke out on the 2100 block of Norbeck Road in Silver Spring Saturday morning.

One occupant from the home was able to escape the fire, officials say. Although there were initial reports that others were trapped inside the house, Montgomery County Fire later confirmed that these reports were unfounded.

According to the Montgomery County Fire Twitter account, firefighters were able to extinguish the bulk of the fire.
