LOUNDOUN CO., VA – The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation awarded an equipment grant worth $19,000 to The Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad Tuesday. The grant was used to purchase new extraction equipment for the department .

The ceremony was held at Firehouse Subs at Sugarland Crossing Tuesday night. Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad members were joined by the Loundoun County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Rotary Club of Sterling.

Over the past four years, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has granted over $60,000 to Loundoun County public service organizations.
