MONTGOMERY CO., MD – A Prince George’s County man has been sentenced to life without parole for a 2012 homicide.

Michael A. Clinton of Bladensburg, Maryland was sentenced to life without parole for the 2012 slaying of 21-year-old Jesse Campos. He received 50 years, with 15 of those years suspended, for the murder, as well as 20 years, with 10 years suspended, for assaulting another victim with a gun. Clinton will serve his sentence in Virginia.

Clinton was found guilty of first-degree murder on April 22. Police say Clinton shot and killed Campos at his Silver Spring apartment on December 7, 2012.
