FAIRFAX, VA – Detectives from the Franconia District Station are investigating numerous thefts that have occurred at several Starbucks locations.

Police say the incidents took place at nine different locations from Franconia to Reston.  They occurred from April 20 to May 23.

Police reports say the suspect enters the business and pretends to talk on his cell phone while hanging around the store.  When store employees are distracted, he loads a bag with instant coffee packets and then leaves the store.

The suspect was described as black, approximately 30-years-old and 6 feet 1 inch tall. He has long dreadlocks and pock-marked skin. He typically carries a black duffel bag and has been seen leaving in a white Hyundai Tuscon.
