WASHINGTON, D.C. – Severe weather expected throughout the day Sunday in the District, as well as in parts of Maryland and Virginia. Here are the most up-to-date warnings and watches for the area.

District of Columbia:

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the entirety of the District of Columbia until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5.

Maryland:

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for the following counties: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Carroll, Harford, Howard, and Montgomery. That will be in effect until 5:15 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the following counties in Maryland: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Carroll, Charles, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s and St. Marys. That will be in effect until 10:00 p.m.

Virginia:

A Severe Thunderstorm has been issued for Arlington, the City of Alexandria, the City of Fairfax, the City of Falls Church, the City of Fredericksburg, the City of Manassas, Fairfax County,  Loudoun County, Prince William County, Spotsylvania County, and Stafford County. That will be in effect until 10:00 p.m.
