Police make arrest in Maryland homicide

CLINTON, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department arrested 25-year-old Antonio Barnett in connection with a fatal shooting in Clinton last Saturday.

On April 16, 2016, at about 9:50 pm, patrol officers found the victim, Carl Marshall, suffering from a gunshot wound in the 5300 block of Vienna Drive. He died from his injuries at the scene.

At the moment, detectives believe an argument between the suspect and victim led to the fatal shooting. Barnett is charged with first and second degree murder. He is being held at the Department of Corrections without bail.
