One of the first things Sue ever told her boyfriend Omar was that she wanted her life to be like a musical.  Omar, who lives in London decided to surprise Sue by travelling to LA, gathering some of her closest friends and family, and re-writing the lyrics to “Seasons of Love” from her favorite musical, “RENT” for a super romantic proposal.

Here are the lyrics Omar rewrote:

Five thousand, four hundred and thirty seven miles
Five thousand, four hundred and thirty seven too much
Five thousand, four hundred and thirty seven miles
How do you measure the distance of love?

In day dreams, in skype chats
In parcels, in cute messages
In air miles, in songs, in laughter, in mind
In five thousand, four hundred and thirty seven miles
How do you measure the mountain we’ve climbed?

How about love?
How about love?
How about love?
Measure in love
We’re so in love (love)
Forever love (love)

Five thousand, four hundred and thirty seven miles
Five thousand, four hundred moments we’ve shared
Five thousand, four hundred and thirty seven miles
How do you measure the love that our hearts are yet to bear?

In things that we’ll learn

Or in times that we’ve cried
‘Cause now it’s our turn
We’ll be together for life

It’s time now, to take things
To the next stage
Let’s celebrate
Because we’re about to get engaged

You are my love
(Oh, you are my, you are my lovely love)
My only love
(You know that love is a gift from up above)
We’re so in love
(Our love, the love, forever love)
Measure in love
(Forever we will be in love)
